Engineer Mountain is one of the most recognizable and beloved peaks in Southwest Colorado. The hike to its summit is a fantastic adventure, involving a beautiful walk through alpine meadows and a fun, final scramble to the top. The 360-degree panoramic view from the summit is absolutely spectacular, encompassing the Needle Mountains, the La Platas, and the Wilson group. A true San Juan classic.
