This is a bucket-list Colorado hike for a reason. The journey on the Cascade Creek Trail is a scenic delight, but the destination is truly world-class. First, you'll arrive at Mirror Lake, which perfectly reflects the jagged Lone Eagle Peak. A short climb further brings you to the more rugged and wild Crater Lake, nestled right at the base of the peak. It’s a long but incredibly rewarding day in a spectacular setting.
