The hike to Carpenter Peak is the premier adventure in Roxborough State Park. The challenging but rewarding trail climbs through the unique scrub-oak environment before a final push to the 7,175-foot summit. From the top, you're treated to a spectacular panoramic view that includes the tilted sandstone slabs of the park, the entire Front Range, and the distant Denver skyline.
