The hike to the Button Rock Dam is a fantastic outing near Lyons. The trail follows the beautiful North St. Vrain Creek up a scenic canyon on a wide service road, making it an easy and pleasant walk. The destination is the impressive dam that creates the Ralph Price Reservoir. The "Sleepy Lion" rock formation across the water provides a fun landmark to spot. A great hike for all ages.
