The Buffalo Mountain Trail is a Summit County classic for a reason. This very steep and strenuous trail is a true test of fitness, but the reward is one of the most spectacular 360-degree views you can find. From the rocky summit, you'll look down on the Gore Range, the Tenmile Range, Dillon Reservoir, and the entire valley. It's a tough but incredibly rewarding bucket-list hike for seasoned adventurers.
