Starting from the beautiful Lost Lake, this trail meanders through some of Colorado's largest and most spectacular aspen forests. In mid-summer, the meadows explode with a vibrant carpet of wildflowers, and the views of the Ruby Range and surrounding peaks are simply breathtaking. It's a moderately easy hike with an enormous scenic payoff, making it a favorite for photographers and nature lovers, especially in the fall.
