The Bear Lake Loop is an incredibly popular and scenic 0.7-mile trail that circles the picturesque Bear Lake at 9,475 feet elevation in Rocky Mountain National Park. This relatively flat loop offers magnificent views of Hallett Peak and the Continental Divide, especially beautiful during fall with vibrant aspens. It's an ideal short hike for all abilities, with benches for reflection. Bear Lake also serves as a gateway to numerous other iconic trails, making it a central point for further exploration into the park's stunning wilderness.
